SAFETY PROGRAM

At Process Mechanical Piping and Erection, Inc., we consider no phase of our business to be of greater importance than the safety and well-being of our employees. Due to our ongoing commitment to safety, in 2015, Process Mechanical Piping & Erection, Inc. took on the task of an entire revision and updating of our Environmental Safety & Health Program under the direction of a full-time Safety Coordinator who has a C-MESH Certification through the North Carolina Safety Council and the National Safety Council, which requires more than 100 hours of training. Our Safety Coordinator also completed OHSA’s 510 & 501 Courses, enabling us to do “in-house” 10 & 30-hour OSHA Safety Training.

During the past year, Process Mechanical Piping has built significant relationships with the National Safety Council, the North Carolina Safety Council, the Mid-Atlantic Safety Council, as well as the Gulf Coast Safety Council, and many of our employees have been through their Basic Orientation Plus programs along with other “site specific” training, where needed. We are also recognized by ISNetWorld, a third-party safety program vetting organization; with whom we hold a “Recommended” and “B” rating after their evaluations.

Our safety program is a source of pride. We are constantly striving to improve our methods, practices, and procedures in search of a safer workplace for our employees and customers. Our Experience Modification Factor, which as of July 1, 2016 is .96, has shown steady improvement as our safety program has grown and matured.

The vision of our founders included a healthy, happy workplace, free from recognized hazards, while producing the best possible product and services for all of our customers. It is our policy to conduct all business in a responsible manner. This includes respecting the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, partners and community neighbors. Far too often the effects to one’s community are not considered. At Process Mechanical Piping & Erection, Inc., we strive to create not only a better work environment for our employees, but also do our part to improve the community around us.
